“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
― Nelson Mandela
Our co-founder, Larnell K. Davis, Sr., passed away in December 2016 from liver cancer. He developed Hep C about 30 years ago, which led to his cirrhosis, and ultimately his cancer. I do not feel we were educated enough about the damage the Hep C had on his body, nor how the cirrhosis made his recovery from the cancer impossible. For this reason, I decided to honor his memory by establishing the L. K. Davis Liver Disease Awareness Association, to help educate the public about liver health.
At some point in the near future we will have a designated website, but for now, we have a Facebook page. Please visit L. K. Davis Liver Disease Awareness Association for information on liver health.
